Available to students with 4-semesters of College-level German, or the equivalent, IES Freiburg: Language and Area Studies will help you improve your German language skills while immersing yourself in the University of Freiburg. Through enrolling in a combination of IES-taught and University of Freiburg courses, in addition to living among other German and international students, and participating in IES-arranged excursions and other activities, you'll have a semester you won't forget!

###    European Union: Politics, Law & Economics  expand\_more  

Freiburg, a beautiful, small university town, is where you'll enroll in English-taught courses in disciplines like Political Science, International Relations, Economics, and Law, as well as an optional German-language course. And, as part of the program’s required Integrative Seminar, you travel for approximately three weeks, gaining exposure to the European Union and beyond. While in Freiburg, you'll live in a single-occupancy room in a co-ed suite with a shared kitchen in bath in a residence hall with German and international students.
